About

What FigCraft Online is, who runs it, and how it relates to the official FigCraft project by the ArtCraft team.

Last updated: 2026-10-16

FigCraft Online lets you use FigCraft, the free open-source Figma alternative, instantly in your browser — no download, no installer, no account. Around the editor we write guides that help you decide whether FigCraft fits your work and get more out of it.

Who makes what

  • FigCraft is made by the ArtCraft team and contributors and released under the MIT or Apache-2.0 licence. The official project pages are github.com/storytold/figcraft and getartcraft.com/apps/figcraft.
  • FigCraft Online is an independent, unofficial site. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the ArtCraft team or Figma, Inc.

What we host

We serve the unmodified official FigCraft web build from its GitHub release and check the archive's SHA-256 checksum on every build. We add one small script to the editor's start page (to report download progress to this page); FigCraft itself is unchanged. Its licence texts and notices ship next to the editor: LICENSE-MIT, LICENSE-APACHE and NOTICE.txt.

Desktop downloads always link to the official GitHub release. We never host or repackage installers.

Your files stay with you

The editor runs entirely on your device using WebAssembly. Designs you open, create or export are never uploaded to us.
